Climb On Equipment is not just another outdoor retail store. We are a small business that accept new and gently used gear from the local public living in Squamish.
If you have lightly loved, in season, outdoor adventure equipment that is less than 8 years old that you want to sell, bring it down to us any time and our experienced staff will help find a price that provides value for both the seller and purchaser.
Our Consignment Policy
ITEMS WE ACCEPT
Please be selective and bring only appropriate items. These items must be clean, stain and pet-hair free, in excellent condition, outdoor gear brands only, and less than 8 years. If your items are not in this condition we will not accept them.
We accept items that are popular in season and are publicly desirable. Generally, for spring and summer, climbing gear, running and hiking apparel + footwear sells faster. For fall and winter, we start accepting alpine gear, skis and snowboards, snow footwear, and winter apparel. Good books are always acceptable any time of the year! Feel free to contact us for more details on what we're accepting, as it changes year to year.
Brands we LOVE: North Face, Black Diamond, Patagonia, any Gore-Tex items, Mammut, Arc'teryx, La Sportiva, Outdoor Research, Lululemon, MEC, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, Dakine, Prana, Montane, and Cholorophyll.
Brands we DON'T ACCEPT: Gap, Old Navy, Quicksilver, Roxy, Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Nike, Addidas, Reebok, Timberland, Roots, Taiga, Puma, and any big name brands that you can purchase in Mark's Warehouse, Walmart, or malls.
Climb On will asses your items within 7 days of drop off. It is your responsibility to pick up rejected items within 10 days.
Climb On has a period of 120 days from the date an agreement is made. If your item did not sell within 120 days, we will reduce the cost without contacting you, so it gets sold.
We advise that you come into the store, or give us a call, to check if your items have sold.
Please pick your items up if it hasn't sold. Only for expensive items, we will give you one courtesy call to advise you to pick up your unsold items. If you do not pick these items up, Climb On will donate them to a local, non-profit charity after 10 days.
